What information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it:
In short, we collect the personally identifiable information you provide us when you complete your order, choose to leave reviews or create an account; we also collect the data your device and software share with us automatically as you use the site. We use this information to fulfill your order, run business analytics, and improve your user experience. We will never sell your information to third parties. We may share your data with trusted third parties only when it’s necessary to do so, as it is for nearly all online business operations – for example, our payment processor when you pay, our spam detector if you leave a review, our host’s servers if you create an account, or our site analytics service. We do not allow third-party behavioral tracking
We collect the personal data you provide on your order form, such as your name, address, phone number, and email. This is to fulfill your order and communicate with you about it should we need. If you choose to create an account, your personal information will be securely stored on our hosts’ servers for your convenience- for example, to auto-fill your shipping address on your future orders, or to provide you a record of your recent orders. We may also use your email to contact you about promotions, special offers, or vital updates to the site or our business. You can always choose to unsubscribe from these emails by following the instructions in them
We collect the data necessary to process your payment, for example your bank account numbers. We do not store or have access to your bank account information after you enter it – it is encrypted and sent to our payment processor. The lock icon and “https” before the address on the payment screen can confirm encryption. You can choose an alternate payment method such as cryptocurrency if you do not want to share your payment information.
We collect the data you enter if you choose to leave a review, such as your name, email address, and review text, in order to publish it. We may also automatically collect your IP address and your browser user agent string for automatic spam detection.
We (our hosts’ servers) may automatically collect non-identifying information from your web browser such as your browser type and version, which pages you visit and how long you spend on them, when you visit, language preferences, and other details. Your device may also transmit data to us such as the device type, unique device identifiers, operating system, settings, and location data. The scope of this information can vary so please check your specific device and software’s policies. We collect and use this data to run site analytics and improve user experience.
How we protect your data: We maintain strong data integrity and security measures, online and offline, to keep your information safe, and we only store it as long as it’s necessary to do so. When we do need to access it, employees are granted clearance on a case-by-case basis, for example, accessing your name and address to send your order. Please remember that no electronic communication is 100% safe – we encourage you to take charge of your own internet safety.
How you can control your data: You can change your browser and device settings to restrict the data shared with us automatically. You can also opt out of our emails by unsubscribing from them as described in them. And you can contact us at any time with any concerns or requests.
How we handle do not track signals: We honor DNT requests and do not track or plant cookies when your browser uses a DNT mechanism.
